Completed Doctorates

Matthias was the first employee at my chair and he designed, developed, and executed our Process Analytics lecture including an eLearning module. Furthermore, he initiated collaborations with industry partners and launched the website www.processmining-software.com contributing to the chair’s objective of fulfilling the needs of practitioners dealing with data-driven process analysis.

Tobias was the second research associate at my chair and considerably shaped its research focus and teaching profile, especially in the area of digital industrial platforms. His input helped to establish the chair in information systems teaching and research at FAU and in the wider community.

Emanuel was the third research associate at my chair and was instrumental in shaping the chair’s research and teaching profile. With the topics of industrial smart services and (platform) ecosystems, he successfully established and advanced a promising research area at our chair. In addition, the lecture Service Management and Service Engineering has developed into the flagship of our teaching at FAU under his care.

Sven was the fourth research associate at my chair. He contributed considerably to developing the chair’s process and business analytics research area. Moreover, he had the opportunity to design, develop and execute seminars to bring topics of this research area into teaching.

Sandra joined my team as a research associate in 2018. She contributed to developing the chair’s teaching profile. Furthermore, she contributed considerably to the chair’s process and business analytics research area. She was involved in promotin young talents in our research community as well as supporting the connectivity of our institute.
