Three Researchers from Our Chair Selected for the Software Campus

Matthias Stierle, Sven Weinzierl and Tobias Pauli, three researchers from the Chair of Digital Industrial Service Systems, have been selected for the highly competitive Software Campus program and recently started their research projects. The Software Campus is an initiative funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and supported by leading Universities in Germany as well as industry partners such as TRUMPF, DATEV, Huawei or Merck. The goal of the program is to promote and support high-potential PhD and master’s students with funding for their own research projects and executive training.

In the context of the program, Matthias Stierle is working on the identification of potentials for process automation through process mining, Sven Weinzierl is focusing on artificial intelligence to reveal potentials for Semi-Process-Automation and Tobias Pauli is working on inter-organizational interdependencies in IoT-Platform-Ecosystems.

If you are interested in applying for the program, this year’s application deadline is the 24th of March. The application prerequisites and further information can be found here
